Let’s be honest, most things are better when you do them with someone else, and working out can definitely be one of them. There are some amazing additional benefits of training with a partner.
And with it being February ‘n’ all, it’s the perfect time to grab your better half, significant other, “that ratbag” or whatever you call them, and start reaping the benefits of semi-private training. Here are just a few of them.
Just like personal training, semi-private training sessions hold you accountable for turning up and putting 100% effort into your workout. In fact, not only are you accountable to yourself but each other, and the last thing you want to do is let your training partner down!
That extra sense of accountability (aka, ‘guilt’) you feel inside is what will prevent you from staying on the sofa and doing ‘Netflix and chill’. It can wait until later people!
Offering semi-private coaching means me working with more than one client at once. So you’ll not be paying the price of a personal training session, saving each of you a fair amount of cash, yet still allowing us to focus on each of your individual goals.
We’re all feeling the pinch these days, so why not share the load allowing everyone to still get a good bespoke workout with a dedicated trainer.
Training together, even with just one or two more people, gives a sense of solidarity, companionship and team spirit. You get to train with someone going through the same challenges as you, and give each other mutual support to help overcome them.
if you find it hard to get to the gym, knowing that you have a partner, or that you’re part of a small group and the others are waiting to team up with you, will spur you on, and even make you look forward to your training sessions.
And of course during the sessions, you will have each other for encouragement and inspiration.
Yes, you read it right, exercise can be fun! Especially with double or triple the amount of endorphins in the room. A training program with friends can definitely be fun!
